Aerial footage captures the dimensions and destruction of a forest fireplace burning in northern Japan. As of Thursday, the blaze has destroyed greater than 80 buildings and compelled about 2,000 residents to evacuate in Ofunato, within the Iwate prefecture. Navy helicopters have been deployed to assist distinguish the hearth, authorities say. Native officers blamed the unusually dry winter and robust winds.
