Bournemouth have been drawn at residence to Manchester Metropolis within the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Preston, the one Championship aspect left within the FA Cup, are at residence to Unai Emery’s Aston Villa.
Fulham host Crystal Palace in a London derby.
And Brighton might be at residence to both Nottingham Forest or Ipswich, who play their fifth-round tie on Monday.
Apart from 2023 victors Manchester Metropolis, Ipswich are the latest FA Cup winners (1978) left in it.
Fulham, Palace, Bournemouth and Brighton have by no means gained the cup.
“It’s totally open now. What an opportunity for a staff to go and win it,” stated ex-Manchester Metropolis and Villa defender Micah Richards on REPORTAHOLICS One.
“All of the [other] huge groups are out. Manchester Metropolis are clearly the strongest staff left in there. That is what we wished, groups to get an opportunity.”
The quarter-final ties will happen on the weekend of Saturday, 29 March.
