Police bodycam footage exhibits the second officers used a capybara costume to hold out a drug raid in Peru’s capital Lima.

The Escuadron Verde (Inexperienced Squad) police group is a specialised unit of the Peruvian Nationwide Police who usually disguise their brokers in fancy gown throughout festivities reminiscent of Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.

The pinnacle of the unit, Col Pedro Rojas, has stated: “On this event, Valentine’s Day, lover’s day, we sought to camouflage ourselves with the character of the capybara.”

Peruvian police have beforehand dressed their officers up as Marvel characters Spiderman, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow to hold out a drug raid.
